Both worthy inductees but Erin is head and shoulders above Daisy as a player IMO

Daisy's best work as a player was done with the Darebin Falcons in the VWFL. 10 flags (7 as captain), 7-time VWFL League Best and Fairest winner and 5-time Darebin Falcons Best and Fairest winner. These headline a massive list of player accolades.
Twilight Erin obviously eclipses twilight Daisy based on what we saw both women achieve at AFLw level, but the gap might have been closer than we think during their prime years, based on the above.

Thank you, I shall find that rock and crawl back underneath it.

Pearce's stardom at VWFL level was the catalyst for girls to take up playing the game, this led top greater participation rates and ultimately the AFL forming the AFLW competition. Trailblazer is the only word you can use for her.
Phillips on the other hand was the elite player the competition needed to show on the national level and she delivered in spades.

Erin never played in her prime years Imagine if she did
Both great players but I just think Erin was that good no one will ever come close to her

Phillips is remembered for her GF heroics and her leadership, Eb Marinoff is going to surpass Phillips, she's a star.
As a pure footballer, Erin is streets ahead of Ebony.
Marinoff is bit like Scott Thompson, in and under, racks up the touches, not great efficiency and quite a few mongrel punts thrown in as well. Great player though, don't get me wrong.
Phillips is more like James Hird, graceful under pressure, can play forward and on-ball and turns games single handedly. I'd say she has a better left foot than James, too! She's an all-timer

I agree with you
This is a bit of stretch but Erin's ability was Bradmanqsque if we were talking cricket terms. She was that far ahead of anyone in else in the competition despite being at the back end of her career. No taking away from her talent but keep in mind she had spent many years in the professional WNBA playing against first time professionals in the AFLW.
Due to that reason alone i don't think we will see someone who is so far better than their opponents again in the AFLW. No AFLW player will ever appear that good again.

Don't forget she played a few years in the WNBA. Just imagine if she'd have stayed in Australia & played AFL from the get go. I've said before, she was the only female player at the start of the AFLW that could (for lack of a better term) kick like the boys. I've seen a few more now getting to the level she was at.
I think the years in the WNBA would have been even more valuable to her than if she had stayed in Australia.
If she had stayed here should wouldnt have spent the (9?) years previous training as a professional athlete in facilities and resources that rival AFL mens clubs.

He is, not uncommon to have a beer with him on a Saturday and he wells up when I mention any of his kids or grandkids. Him and Julie are lovely people.
I saw him the other day watching his grandkids, geez his body has paid the price of playing footy like he did.
Anyone know the story of why Darley wasn't in the official photo of all of the HOF inductee's? Seems strange to me but haven't seen any commentary about it.
