Troy Ugle Hagen in drug rehabilitation.

Wonder if the AFL and the AFLPA think they are not in part responsible for this outcome?

As the shapers of and the administration of the policy regarding drug testing, positive drug test sanctions and what is referred to as the three strike policy and its associated enforcement around mental health.

The player is ultimately responsible but the environment in which it can spiral belongs with the other two bodies.. Not simply a waste of football talent but a sad way for his life to be shaped.. Hope he can come back from this.

Yes. Only Carlton can come in and they're frauds.

In the 18-team era, only twice has the final eight changed after Round 9.

Ooh interesting stat - do you know what years? I reckon Sydney dropped their first 5 or so games but still made finals in about 2017-ish? They would only have moved into the top 8 relatively late in the season.

Unless West coast played internals each week you'd think they'd be ranked #1.

Is it the year for the Gold Coast? Can they finish top 4? Was a fair effort knocking off the Dogs on the weekend.

Might be a pessimistic view, but locking Adelaide in now is way too early.
Like I've said before, next 4-5 weeks are difficult games (should not be v WCE though) and will define the season.
Only 2 weeks ago we had lost 3 of the last 4 to Suns, Cats and Freo.

RD 16 AFL matches

The games are
CO V WC
FR V SK
GC V ML
HW V NM
PA V CA
RI V AC
SS V WB

IF one assumes that the AFL wants to maximise attendances with games in prime time then the AFL is perhaps in a quandary
At this stage it would be a nightmarish logistic for the AFL to work out the 26/6 Thursday night game [ assume it will be a Thursday kick off]
There are NO games that involve 2 teams in the top 8 against each other on the current ladder

Based on the current ladder
The above games are
2 v 18
11 v 12
4 v 15
3 v 17
13 v 10
16 v 5
14 v 6

Someone in the AFL needs to lose their job over this Lachie Schulz incident. If for nothing else, the lying.

100%, they knew all along and chose to try and make it go away.

He is right up there with the best to have ever played. Does plenty of work trying to keep kids on the right side.

I really admire him.

It really is a great story, did you watch the video in the link?

He talks about his family, the South Freo culture, his foundation and the impact he's had on kids in WA.
