I think we might see a good run of form from Lonsdale over the next few weeks. They have been very competitive so far, a few close losses without quite getting over the line.

This season feels like it's really dragging on already! 5 games in after 7 weeks.. 2 more games until another week off.. will this season ever end?!

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
Blackfriars OS vs Rosewater
Houghton vs Fitzroy
Adelaide Lutheran vs Para Hills
West Croydon vs St Pauls OS
OSB Lonsdale vs Ingle Farm
Para Hills and St Pauls OS the only locks for this weekend. Could make it real interesting if 'Roys drop a game to Houghton! Could potentially have 5 or 6 sides all equal on 4 wins.
OSB probably favourites at home against Ingle Farm - the Farmers could slip outside the 5 with a loss.
B Grade: if results follow ladder positions, the top 4 can put some space on the rest, then it's an arm wrestle for that last finals spot. Having seen a little bit of Houghton + BOS against Ingle Farm - very little between those three sides.. even Para Hills were good Rd 1 before fading late.
As with all divs and seasons, it's going to come down to who gets through the wet months best, which sides can manage their players / injuries and hit the backend with depth.

Nice playing knowing that relegation is off the table and you can focus on finals footy. The bottom two are very bottom. The Bedge wrote:This season feels like it's really dragging on already! 5 games in after 7 weeks.. 2 more games until another week off.. will this season ever end?!
Rd 6
Blacks over Rosewater - 10 points - game of the round
Fitzroy over Houghton - 35 points - Fitzroy to announce themselves as strong favourite this week
Para Hills over Lutheran - 70 points
St Paul's over West Croydon - 110 points
Ingle Farm over OSB - 37 points - Ingle Farm to stop kidding around and show their hand

Coaching masterclass at St Pauls today .... inspirational. Although I thought the navy blue slacks clashed with the green polo.

Ladder after 7 Rounds
12 - Flagroys
10 - Rosewater
08 - Ingle Farm
08 - Para Hills
08 - Blackfriars
----------------------
08 - Houghton
08 - St Pauls
06 - OSB Lonsdale
02 - Adelaide Lutheran
00 - West Croydon
Bloody tight comp, and except for Flagroys and Rosewater, really hasn't been any sides able to break away from the pack. Was like "Damn it!" Saturday night looking at the Lutheran score, would've been nice to have them knock off the Raiders to create some interest and a buffer.
Also would've been nice for the circle of parity...

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
After the long weekend its 1st v 3rd and 2nd v 4th just to keep it interesting. I thought Fitzroy had a couple out on the weekend which makes the 87 point hiding against Para Hills more impressive, it was 1st v 2nd prior to the weekend.

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
On a serious note.
Bedgy, what can we expect with the up coming second half of the year regarding Ingle Farm home ground games ?
They deserve to get their fair share of home games just like everyone else, visiting clubs just have to adapt with advance notice.
Are home games on track and planned for ?

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
Fixture at this stage is as planned and we will play our home games following Fitzroy.
Been a number of curve balls thrown our way, which hasn’t helped, but the league have been good and given us feedback on basic needs / requirements to host which I believe we will have finalised ahead of our home games.
Just had to address concerns around umpire change-rooms, safety around the oval with containers, toilets / canteen facilities etc.. all standard.
We will run our canteen upstairs in the kitchen, which we have been doing for jnrs so far - not ideal, but better than nothing.
Upgrades won’t be finished until Oct now, so the need for our home games to generate some income is critical - the expenses don’t go away!

Fitzroy had 2 outs?
Yes they were very good.We will look forward to next time we get to play..no excuses on Saturday but we had 9 A graders that didn't play on the weekend.(injured/unavailable)
Should all be back after the bye.....
