1. South Gawler Bakery
2. Two Wells Bakery
3. Yorketown Bakery
4. Yankalilla Bakery
5. Kiplings Bakery (Port Wakefield)

I feel that I've let the Port Wakefield Bakery down a little as they were ranked #4, I cheated on them and stopped in at Kiplings and they delivered well, Yorketown was so good I had to go back there the next day too while I was on the peninsula, Edithburgh is the butthole of the Yorke and doesn't have a bakery, Adrossan Bakery is rank.

The Cornish Kitchen in Moonta goes alright, Waikerie is fair, O'Connell Street and Port Elliott are a little over-rated IMO.

I'm happy to try any suburbian ones if anyone has any recommendations.

Ned Kellys on Port Road at Alberton.

Feel it's a bit overrated

Any place that still does a double cut roll cannot be over rated.

I was at the Normanville Bakery last weekend (try the apple bun!) & I still say it runs rings around its more publicised neighbours in Yank & Pt Elliot.

I went the Normy bakery as well last weekend as we stayed down there and didn’t like it.
The Yank on the other hand was superb!

On a side note I went to the recently opened Fleurieu Gin place last weekend and it’s sensational.

I didn't rate Port Elliot at all, I thought the one at all, I thought Goolwa Bakery was better.

Ventured to The Unley last night

Garlic Bread - can't really go wrong, some places surprisingly do, this was a good start.

Salt and pepper lemon squid - rated a 7.75. Needed a bit more seasoning was the report.
Cajun spiced Barramundi with a pumpkin puree and roast spuds. - solid enough, fish just melted 7.5
Scotch fillet steak- medium rare - report was that it was very good and given a 9.

Service - was really good.
3 drinks and meals $167

Overall rating of 7.5/10

Mentioned previously

Nan Yuan, great Chinese food.

Packed with Chinese people so that’s always a good sign.

9.5/10, service isn’t always the best but the food is incredible

Knead Tanunda.

For a table of 6 we went the 6 course chefs option for $75 pp. 4 courses is $55 and would have been enough. Generous sized servings.

We had sourdough with great EVO, duck pate and cornichons dumplings with a chicken and mushroom filling, Pasta with pork sausage, broccolini, chilli, garlic and oil, Sirloin steak with roasted tomatoes and salsa verde , roasted new potatoes and broccolini followed by crème brûlée and pana cota ( they asked if we would like a mixture for desert to share which was a great idea).

The wine wall instead of a wine list means a huge selection is available and very reasonably priced. We stayed on the Crillo Vincent Grenache for $55 a bottle.

Service was excellent. I think very well priced.Provided containers for the leftovers at their offering.

Highly recommended.

Always been told don’t go to a Chinese restaurant if Chinese people don’t dine there

This is a live review.

Food ordered roughly an hour ago. We hear the waitress inform 2 tables around us that there was a bit table out the back, and food is 10mins away.

The initial service was really good.
The lack of information about the delay, has more than negated that positivity.

Seafood trio and S & P squid hopefully do the job.... let's see

71mins in waiting and get told it's 3mins away

3mins became 15

No apology.

Food was absolute garbage.

Very disappointing.

Banned forever

Just read that Skillohalee wines/estate have taken it over

After claiming that you wouldn't see me in a Fasta Pasta restaurant a while back I was sucked in to having to go to the Golden Grove FP Wednesday night.

I wasn't sold on getting a pasta dish, I'm trying to avoid pasta and bread so I thought I'd give their 300g Porterhouse a shot.

Whilst appearing medium rare it wasn't as tender as I would've liked but their pepper gravy was the best gravy I've ever tasted, it was a healthy sized serving too so the chips got a fair swim in it.

West Adelaide Football Club
Both of us had the fish and chips with salad
Decent sized serve, I was very full, my mate could'nt finish off the very generous feed.
Fish was battered and ok, the chips and salad scrumptious

The setting was comfortable
Service was adequate

Ive had a few meals at the club, and never been disappointed
I shall return
