Essendon and Adelaide have only met 3 times on the MCG with the Bombers winning all 3. The last time Essendon played the Crows on the MCG was Round 14 1995 where the Bombers prevailed by 122pts.

Reckon the Crows win this comfortably.

Reckon will only be a goal or two either way but the Crows have a lot more firepower than us so we don’t want to engage in a shootout

Obviously. we've played at Colonial/Docklands/Telstra/Marvel/anything else since 2000, and I can remember Mark Harvey's last game being at Princes Park. Times flies when you're getting old...

I think if we had Langers & Rids we'd win, but they're just too bloody hard to replace. Great to see Tom Edwards get a gig, he was teaching PE a month or so ago!

Probably will be completely off the mark but feel the rain 100% works in the favour of Hawthorn.

Their small forwards Moore, Ginnivan, Watson resting mid will thrive in the wet weather.

On the other hand Carltons defence is based around the intercept marking of Weitering, McGovern and Haynes. Wouldn't be surprised to see Haynes named as the sub. How are they going to fit the big 3 down back.

Carltons biggest weakness is the small forwards.
