Rightfully or wrongly i just don't think Donald sees the Russians as a threat anymore because of his 'perceived' level of friendship with Putin.
It doesn't need to be overcomplicated, nothing Donald does is complicated, everything is a financial business deal.
Donald wants the Ukraine minerals for the financial benefits, he doesn't care if Russia has a bit more of Ukraine's territory because he doesn't see that as a threat to USA.
Plus he will want to be taking a bit of land in the future, Canada, Greenland, Gaza so having Russia in his back pocket on this deal with help his future causes.

Did anyone here him talk about how they will 'have' Gaza.
When pressed on what he meant by have he essentially said they dont need to buy it because its a war torn country so there is nothing to buy and that they can just 'have' it.

We want to 'cancel' people for things said 20+ years ago, yet the 'leader of the free world' can get up in front of a global audience and prescript a speech that is genuinely full of blatant lies. They're not even slight mistruths, spins or subjective lives they are just straight-out bullshit.
Crazy this can still happen in the modern.
Politics & elections need some rules of engagement, some solid structure. A bit like a sporting game, two teams who have to abide but a set of laws that they are held accountable for. Never been so disillusioned with politics in my life.
