B9 tonight, 44 and 20 points with 2 doubles and one triple, tap in birdie on 13 the highlight.

Nearly got my GA, 9 holes to go.

West Lakes

Very ordinary start.
3 bunkers in first 2 holes. 2 bunkers on the first hole  Found 7 all up
Putting was ok.
Driver was poor to start. But finally got it going. Must have seen me look at the Cobra Adapt in pro shop  knocked one 251m down the 14th. Did take 3w off tee for a few holes.

30points
Probably better than it looked.

Snap, 18 pts for me last night, all over the shop with 2 doubles and a triple but did enough on the other holes to get to 18.

Should have enough cards for my GA now. New 3 wood worked well, think it is going to be a handy addition to the bag.

3w would work nicely on 2nd,
2nd shot on 5th
Off the 12th
2nd shot on 13 provided far enough right.
Off 16 and 17 as well. Unless you let driver do the power fade off those tees?

Got my drive over the dip on the 1st so got to use it for the 2nd shot of the day, got to 40m short of the green into the wind which is exactly why I got it, at best my 16 degree hybrid went 190m, this should get me over 200 and a bit more, plus these new clubs are much more forgiving for a poor strike.

2nd I use a 4 iron religiously, agree with the rest, although I tend to use driver on 16 with my fade.

Yes the 1st I didn't think of. Get the drive to the little dip area, then 3w.
Plus at Vines if you hit right side of fairways you can get a decent amount of roll out.

B9 last night, par the first, hit a 9 on the 11th  played well for the rest of the round for 45 and 20 points, scrambling was good with only hitting 1 fairway. Irons are coming good, putting ball back in the stance a bit has helped. Out again tonight.

Back 9 also.
Slice off tee. Ends up 18th.
See a gap to get back onto 10th
Pull out 6i. Low punch shot.
Great connection. But I missed the big gap and went through a smaller gap.
Ends up on green.
2 putt par

That was the highlight.
44 for 14pts

Back to the indoor golf facility this arvo. Back is not 100% at the minute. Probably just work on chipping and putting I think.

7th at Royal Adelaide. 182m. Uphill. Slight breeze. 4 iron, stiff.

I've had my first hole in one. There are witnesses.
