Given all 4 of them will likely play round one if fit then having a 5th option would be handy!
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

If fit the only certainty for round 1 would be Tomkinson.
There is not much to go by with their highlights on the net.
So possible injuries to others or good trial form and maybe Adams plays round 1.

All 4 newbees have been recruited to play league, make no doubt.
Dont go by stats from their previous Club. Did you see Dittmars stats from 2023? And he has become a major part of our lineup.

Reading this thread scares me, I fear the rest of us are merely playing for 2nd…
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

We don't have a CDFC supporter forum,
this is the only place we can slap each other's backs & try to instill some confidence for the coming year.
I'd rather have supporters on here with positive feedback, than some of the negative tripe I constantly read during the season.

Self-confidence is often mistaken as arrogance by the inferior. :D

To clarify I was responding to this “Do we need a key back? We have Kendall, Montgomery, Posthuma and Little”

With the above 4 likely to be in our top 22 having a fifth key defender for depth makes sense to me…

Spot on, especially with Zac B and Splann moving on.

Isnt 'Arrogant a town in Yorkshire??

It's all good Gaz, lots of respect for the CDFC, and you have some ripping match day officials who are good to have a laugh with during the game.

AGM last night.
Kyle Presbury received Player Life Membership.
Still chatting with a couple of possible recruits who are looking at various offers.

Interesting to hear that Jezza approached Power, not the other way around. Meanwhile Power had sought out Grace, Grant and Dittmar who all turned down the "opportunity".
Mihail L is tracking very well and is on track after his 2 knee recons. East is still away from main group, but should be ready for trials.
Chisholm is looking great after no pre season last season.

Two Friday games in a row in April...against North on Good Friday followed by Port on Anzac Day. No Sunday games.

The Central District Football Club is pleased to announce that two recognisable surnames will be joining us at the Ponderosa in season 2025.

Tom Luhrs, 18, is the son of former Dog Simon, who donned the red, white, and blue as a key forward between 1993 and 1999, playing a total of 92 games and kicking 88 goals. Tom has recently represented the Norwood Football Club at underage level while attending St. Peter’s College. He is an exceptional runner and a very skilled user of the ball. Tom’s versatility allows him to play on a wing, at half-back, or through the midfield.

Hudson Vivian, 19, is the son of former Reserves player Kym and the grandson of recently inducted Hall of Famer Peter. Hudson represented CDFC at underage level before he and his family relocated to Queensland, where he played senior football for Maroochydore FC in the AFL Queensland league. Hudson is a talented midfielder with a strong work ethic, excellent skills, and a competitiveness that will surely impress the Central faithful.

We warmly welcome both boys and their families back to the Kennel.

Interesting that McLennan approached Port ,so much for him saying he loved the club
His form tapered off in the latter half of the season so obviously he wanted to be somewhere else .

For mine, this is an even greater indicator that he's no chance to play AFL at the Power

100% his no chance. It is also an indicator of how strong the dream can be for many and why the lure of the AFL clubs is so strong.
