"woke" is thrown around a fair bit but it's tied in to popular social theories particularly in parts of academia such as critical race theory, identity politics, limitless genders, and the broader idea that western societies (although the most liveable and free in the world) are basically illegitimate, racist, awful places that have never atoned for sins of the past and current.

Yup, on the surface it's **** scary if all of it gets implemented
However its like an ambit claim what finally gets implemented may not reflect that but yeah a more "fluid*" decision making process in US government is all but certain.
Fluid may be interpreted as autocratic...
