BSR have announced Tom Schmusch will play at BSR in 2025.
Took 2024 season off but in 2023 was at Port Districts in Div 1 and played league for the WWT Eagles prior to that.
Centre Half Back who will fill a weakness from last year. Well known to the club and our players through the Eagles connections, a great character fit for the club. Very excited to have him on-board.

May only get a lot stronger depending on the grapevine you believe
Alex Morgan is back permanently, Sam Martin, Joe Heinjus & Nick Longmire who were all injured last year will be ready for round one.
May have a couple more zero pointers in the works as well haha

Nah….it will all end one day and we will be down the bottom scraping as a consequence of not having under 17’s for a few years there.
Just got to make it count whilst we are at the top.
Not sure how we would go against Barossa sides to be honest. We have played Malalla and Balak the last two years in trials and kept them goalless both times. Obviously APFL isn’t in the same stratosphere as the Barossa though.

BSR should play Two Wells in a trial. Similar to BSR have won the last 4 flags in a row and haven’t dropped many games in the minor round

The coach as discussed may have signed at south clare
Whitty has informed the Central Zone that he is not coaching club footy in 2025 so can concentrate on the State Champs role with the Central Zone. If he had coached in NEFL, being in Northern Zone, he was be unable to continue as the Central Zone coach.
