Mets also have a combo of the Dodgers and Giants colours as a remnant of their NY history

Interesting stat in today's game. During the first innings of game six was the the first time that there'd been a lead change all series.

Dodgers do another number on the Mets to win 10-5, and take the series 4-2.

Dodgers v Yankees in the World Series, who says you can't buy a championship!

Mets spent the most on the MLB this season and have nothing to show for it

Yankees & Dodgers were second and third at the start of the season, not like they're doing it on a shoestring budget

Mets − $305,624,274
Yankees − $303,322,047
Dodgers − $249,823,654

Dodger Stadium seats 56,000, Yankee Stadium seats 46,537. Potential crowd of over 360,000 if it goes to 7 games.

Wonder who keeps the profits?

It changes each time there is a new EBA but currently roughly 15% of profits from tickets goes to the MLB commission, 50-60% goes into the players pool and the two competing clubs of each series gets the rest split evenly.
I’m not sure what the figure currently is but From the players pool that total is then split in a sliding scale between ALL clubs involved in post season so the WS winner gets roughly 35%, loser 25% then division losers 15% and wild card losers 2%. From there the clubs then take their player pool money and then vote on which players get what split

This years ticket sales have already outsold last years WS and more than 4 times the year before

That was beyond insane, yesterday's finish was pretty bloody nervy too!

Dodgers look like they've dodged a bullet (sorry...)

Ohtani to suit up at this stage for Game 3
