There would be some that still tune in, probably the same people that used to love KG and Cornsey back in the day and would tune in to KG on dead set legends.

A select demographic that still believe in kick a Vic and believe that Modra and West End draught actually moved a pub.

Surprised he wasn't on air tonight....

The ending of the show was interesting, Gerard mentioned Robbo for the first time on the night and thanked him for 15 years, but no mention of why not on air tonight, why not coming back next year, just left with "I look forward to seeing you on 360 next year", with the emphasis on "I". Sure we will find out more in next day or two what's going on.

And now Gerard’s not doing his show on SEN today..,

Read article today how Robbo was sacked but decided not to do the final show as he didn’t trust himself with what he would have said. May still appear on Midweek Tackle or a new interview style show like Mike Sheahan did.

Said their first option to replace him was Kane Cornes and then Nick Riewoldt but both gone to Seven, rumour now is Garry Lyon, although he loves doing On the Couch. Don’t mind Jack Riewoldt either.

Yeah tend to agree. The guest players / coaches bring the inner sanctum / high level strategic look to the show.

With Whately and Robbo it was more that front bar conversation with your mates level of discussion. Guys who you find were almost fans first types.

I've caught some of the old league replays recently. How the hell anyone involved in television thought he'd be a good commentator is beyond me.
