I've heard it through several sources now that the Wilson boys are looking elsewhere for 2008. I was suprised to hear it myself given the recent history of the Goody Saints. The rumour mill runs riot at this time of year but the people I'm hearing it from are usually very reliable. Correct me if I am wrong! LuvsFooty seems to think I'm on the money. We'll see I guess.

Anyone know more on Tim Rosewall (HENLEY) going 2 ALDINGA?Apparently he's had enough of the western sharks & wants 2 try the southern with a few ex team-mates.He'd be a very handy pick up!

At the Ramsgate last night was told ex Rambler Ash Place has signed at Henley and is trying to get a few of his mates from Seaton there. Not knowing the bloke personally but by the sounds of it he obviously doesnt want Seaton to do well and wants to make it tough for them. I know he had issues with coach Scott Hodges during the year which was surprising as Hodges is straight down the line with his coaching and from what i know even had him part of the leadership group. I am surprised with Hodges leaving Seaton but thought with that Place would return. Dont they want him? or was the rift deeper than Hodges??? It may well be the best thing for Place to start fresh with Henley and prove he can play A1 football. By the way any info on a coach for Seaton?

Speaking to Ashley Place a couple of weeks ago he said he has been offered 400 a game personally i don't think he is worth half that, surely henley wouldn't give him any more than 50 to 80, what is the go if anyone knows placey why did he settle for that when he was offered 400 or does he just rate himself fairly high???

Does anybody know if you can access the Messenger Newspaper online? Apparently the Leader Messenger has run an article today on the TTG Footy Club in the editorial section.

I have been told that it talks about a new President and Committee and that the old Committee didn't want Mark Weaver as a coach! He has taken them to a Premiership in Div 2 and the finals in their first year in Div 1!! What the hell were they thinking! Glad they replaced the Committee!

If anyone can post the article or tell me where I can find it that would be great, cheers.

yes you can access all articles on line, just go your search engine and type in Messenger newspaper and once in the site it gives you what you will want, just look for the title of the paper in the area concerned and click on that and presto, read away

Will Placey be upto the level of A1 still, he's a big lad who had most of last year off, will take alot of work to get back going. As for players following him, these guys will only play B grade at Henley, its a bit of gimme gimme or we will leave, better for all concerned that they do........
