Re: PAFC 2024
"We're in desperate need of a tall forward or two". Georgiades is the only lock, Marshall and Finlayson offer something and then Lord, Scully and Visentini. I think we're ok there. Lord has had a look and needs some consistent game time, Scully is coming along nicely at SANFL level in a struggling side and Visentini has some forward craft.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

I'd like to see Visentini get more game time, Lord concerns me and I'll have to take your word as far as Scully is concerned.Booney wrote:"We're in desperate need of a tall forward or two". Not sure Dan Houston knocked the rumors on the head this morning on 5AA.
Gave the club line but didn’t say he was staying put.

This is a warning, you are running out of time. The $21 on offer will be smashed after tonight and even further after they flog a Stephen May-less cooked Demons next week.tigerpie wrote:That rates as the most confusing sentence I've read.....today.Armchair expert wrote:Would appear some still live in delusion that Port aren't winning the flag this year.

Re: PAFC 2024
Port win the showdown easily, IMO.
In the last four weeks they have started to run both ways and create fwd/midfield pressure which gives them the ability to create turnover and have multiple looks in the F50 before the opposing team can set up.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Sam Powell-Pepper signs to the end of 2029.
The lad has come a long way in a few years. From a bloke who was sent away from the club to think about what he wanted from the game and his future to a Dad with two gorgeous little girls and a player the club values highly on and off field. He's turned things around for himself and his family, can't help but admire someone who does that.
