Eagles have tried harder to give us 5th spot than we have.

Dogs were rubbish for the first 3 quarters, we were rubbish in the last.

Plenty of candidates for our worst loss of the year, but this one is up there.

Could have easily been in the 5, have let slip a few gettable games now.

So many poor performers, but found extra run and intent in a 7 goal to 2 last quarter.

Dudley, who was ordinary for three quarters came up with an amazing goal from a 1 v 2 situation and Grace bagged 3.
Wilson Barry was best for Dogs, along with Grace and consistent Iles. Beau Thomas was clearly our best tall and his last quarter in ruck was outstanding.

For North Combe was his normal strong presence and Harvey was too strong for our defenders.

Umpiring was tough today with their biggest dilemma being to work through the staging for frees that several players were attempting.

That was some last quarter from Centrals. If only they could turn it on like that more consistently.

North were their own worst enemy at times - giving away several off the ball frees, and got a free/25 reversed.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Must have been pretty undisciplined to give away 31 frees to the Dogs, I can't remember North getting 31 frees in one game in the last 30 years at least.

True, forgot it hasn't been windy before and that it was blowing only for one side. ;)

Really good win in the end for only playing 1 quarter
Once again when we move the ball quickly we looked good we are terrible when we go slow.

The SNAFL site must have the free kick count arse about. My adding from the 'Dogs individual stats tells me FF=22, FA=30.

Yep, it was 31-22 in North's favour when I went back to it. As I said before, it shows how bad North are, can't even win with the umps!

Sorry Wedgie, I missed your correction while I was typing on my TV browser. :)

Great to secure a finals berth looks like we will be in the elimination final
Will find it tough to finish third, Glenelg should beat North next game and we just dont beat Sturt anywhere
That will give Glenelg a game break then we have them at home even if we win our percentage will hurt
because they have South last game and we have Port
So we really need North to beat them and somehow we find a way to beat Sturt

SB
Simple equation if CD win their last 3 games = double chance = no need to rely on other results
