Only ourselves to blame, had all the play after qtr time but couldn’t convert. Losing McGree before the game didn’t help

Our defence held firm, game was won and lost there.

Got home from Clare in time for the last qtr but then the old laptop needed updating so only going by the stats.

Appears we had enough of it but efficiency was up the shit so we turned it over and then we’re off target when in scoring range

Workrate was there (based on the tackle statistic) but not the polish

Good to test ourselves against a good defence to identify opportunities for improvement. No excuses for mine with respect to the Port side.

Roll on to next week two big games coming up against Sturt and Norwood.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I’ve got more chance of being invited to Dave’s at Alberton for an IPA than the Bays winning either of those.

Poor game plan today, didn’t straighten up until Kitschke moved forward in the last, still had plenty of chances throughout the game but skills were poor. Can’t fault the effort. If this team had Parto and Brett Turner in it, we would be a much better side. We only have ourselves to blame.

FFS give it a rest re Parto & Turner, you’re painful & only post when we lose (which thankfully isn’t often).
