Anyone heard of any other young blokes who have been invited to try out?

Was struggling to make Sturt's League side at the end of the season, i find that a little strange.

Darling was injured for the last 4-5 games of the year if not more, from memory he played against the Bays down at the Bay and re-injured his shoulder (I think). Earlier in the year when he was fit, he straightened Sturt up and provided a good marking contest at CHF.

You can use that line once Obst has played 150 AFL games, at this stage, all the kid has done is spark interest from another club

The Crows are a joke when it comes to player development. A dead set joke. Obst might not develop into anything, heck he might never play an AFL game, but he has POTENTIAL and we dumped him after 1 year. And now he's had a solid season for the Dogs and is about to train with the Power. That right there is pathetic on the behalf of the AFC.

Doesn't mean the Crows couldn't pick him up still. Hes training at Port but doesn't mean they'll automatically pick him up, the AFC may think they may enough about him, and if hes available may pick up him anyway. Personally i dont think hes worth any more than a very late draft pick and as a Port supporter i'd hope we dont pick him up because i think there are better players out there.

For every Obst there's a Nick Gill
For every Pfeiffer there's a Porplyzia
One door closes another opens for someone else that's footy

Not good IMO
You bag the Crows more than the Port supporters
