Just keep taking me out of context to suit yourself. I'm not making fun of them.
You've successfully made a mountain out of a mole hill and I to have supervised and mentored people with disabilities both physical and mental.
And I'm certainly not making fun of their situation, however there are times when they are truly humorous. That's just a fact and you really need a sense of humour when working with them.

Fact is ask any medical officer and they'll agree, when you are hammered you are temporarily mentally and physically disabled.

I'm certainly not comparing the two and for you to draw this conclusion is pretty offensive.

I know I said 'last comment' on my last post.... but...

Just as one guy working in the sector to another, I offer some advice.

Try to use some more person centred language and less generic terms with implied inferences, you'll come across as less ignorant and condescending when discussing your experiences of supporting people with a disability.

And if its ok with you, I won't ask any of the medical professionals I know to clarify that 'fact'.

End of..... really this time.

You can't be serious?
Ignorant stupid and condescending.
Take a leaf champ!

Pretty obvious I struck a nerve about disability.
Apologies if you were offended by my posts, it wasn't the intention.

I'm just astounded that an apparently reasonably intelligent human being can still racially abuse someone.

Anyway onwards and upwards. Go flys!

Not sarcastic at all.
AFL trying to reduce concussions and CTE in the game. in 2024, players are responsible for the consequences of their actions regardless of the intent so the act will always be graded intentional now and at the mercy of the severity. In Heeneys case, it was severe enough to the face drawing blood to warrant a suspension. The other guys who have got off were glancing blows that did nothing to their opponents.

If Heeney does “win” the Brownlow, will Wubbzy bring it up as often as the “stolen grand final “?

Glancing blows

Ok, so the AFL are massive on concussion, but let the likes of Zerk-Thatcher, who's action was very similar to Heeneys, but broke someone's nose and the player was subbed out. OR Hogan who punched someone front on. Or Maynard who put the exclamation point on Brayshaws career. All got off.
But hey let's rub someone out with zero intent, who did little damage and the opposition player slipped when heeney put his arm back to break the tackle

Didn’t see BZT incident and Maynard would get a month this year as the law changed in 2024.
