I went to the Chairmans function on Saturday night (someone else paid)

As a neutral observer, I found Olsen's and Sliver's speeches hilarious - talk about batten down the hatches and pulling up the drawbridge

Even the WAGs got a mention for their torrid lives - "they didn't sign up for the abuse their partners get..........."

I did get to meet the Johnson brothers from Westies / Goodwood Saints - good lads

The funniest suggestion from Crows fans over the last fortnight is the suggestion that Silvers needs to sack a few of the board members :lol:

FWIW I don't think Silvers is the problem at all, only been there under 3 years and many of the appointments happened before him, plus I can only imagine the time and effort their off field work to get to Thebarton has taken up. His role would take up about 20% of the actual on field stuff.

Assume you have put it here as it has the potential to affect Adelaide's home based project.

Not sure this will mean change for the union or not as I believe the issue that the CMFEU have is with the umpiring boss, so believe it was an issue between the CMFEU and not just Setka vs McBurney.

Anyway hopefully this result in less shut downs on Union sites.
