Sounds like you need everyone to give you a hug...

You know how many people have tried to hug me in the last 48 hours?

You're not wrong. Overnight flight no sleep, got home at 8.30am, at work (WFH) at 9am...

Mate, Sickie!

Follow up from the reason I was in Vietnam in the first place. Might not have a job to come back too if I ditched them today but fair to say my decision making is not great right now.

My feral neighbours across the road woke me with their cracktivities around 4:40am, at that point I figured I might as well get to the gym and do my Friday session + 4k's on the treadmill to fill up some more time so it wasn't all bad, then I got to work.....

Monkey clothes off, stomach full of a whopper, bladder emptied, first beer cracked. Told the wife I'd see her tomorrow, now in my office to enjoy a night of sport. :D

Very sorry to hear, thoughts are with you.

Similarly, a good mate of mine for 35 years passed yesterday, plus my Mum who’s 88, spent Wed night in hospital.

And now my daughter is in an ambulance on her way to hospital. FML.

Must have been contagious, got to sleep at around 2:15 for the alarm to start yelling at me at 4:45, twice this week!

One of the things I love where I live is no neighbouring houses within 100 metres of mine.

Bitterly cold winter nights there though, but definitely a nice place to be.

What I'm looking forward to...

In 41 sleeps :) Myself, Mrs Jase and the two girls are heading to the UK for 7 weeks...

It will be the first time on a plane for the girls, so will be interesting how our ADHD little one will manage sitting still for an hour and a half to Sydney, never mind the then 7 and 15 hour stints...

Starting with a week in London, then up to just outside Birmingham for a wedding, a trip up North for 2 weeks, back to outside Birmingham and numerous day trips including running the Solihull half marathon a week before we leave.

Will try and get to a Bradford City practice match, that should beautifully setup the disappointment for the rest of the season.

On the way back home it is just the Girls and I, as Mrs Jase is staying on with family for another 10 days. This may be the worst idea I have ever had.

Surely St Andrews gets a run.
If not then Cadbury World....

I am not sure what's worse...... 15 odd hours in a flying sardine can with my Mrs, or your kids!

We are heading up to Scotland as part of our trip up North. I've been to St Andrew's before, in the dead of winter, so would be good to see it in the glorious Scottish summer".

We tried to get tickets to the British Open at Royal Troon, but we missed out on the lottery.

We are definitely heading to Cadbury World, this is one of the things the girls are looking to the most, that, seeing Matilda in London and Harry Potter world.
