Dion played. Sounds like a new player turned up late. The Bedge wrote:Dion Doolan - no show Rd 1 I've heard.

Dion Doolan definitely played.
Was named as number 23 but was wearing 21.

Interesting to see Mitcham’s points. Newman, Spinello and Collins all showing as zero pointers. They were 3 in 2022 and 2 in 2023. Am I missing something here. Good even comp this year with the Pulteney bubble bursting today.

Yes you are Yanky. Once you have played 2 seasons and minimum 20 games you drop an extra point in your 3rd year. So most blokes who come to your club as a 3 pointer go down to 2 in year 2 and 0 in year 3. Thats been the rule for a quite a long time except it was 25 games originally but dropped to 20 in the last few years.

Cheers for that Down the Hill, that’s why I asked the question. Been a couple of years out of the system now so great clarification. Terrific rule change though, helps clubs keep loyal players.

Greenacres submitting a report for what looks a text book chase down tackle from behind.
Blimey, if I sent in all the videos from D6, no one would be playing.

Ridiculous if that bloke gets rubbed out. Might as well quit. The Bedge wrote:Greenacres submitting a report for what looks a text book chase down tackle from behind.

Good tackle, wrong location on the cricket pitch in early autumn. I’d be gobsmacked if that got any suspension.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

West Croydon or Greenacres. Both lost close games so likely to be one of them

Another gem from the Advertiser...
A very quick google search of "Patrick O'Dea Marion" gives you this result - https://www.facebook.com/marionramsfc/p ... 427886297/
If you're going to completely make it up, at least make it believable...

If he's a key forward, I am Aaron Sandlilands sized.Local SA footy’s top 25 goalkickers of 2024 so far revealed
25. PATRICK O’DEA (Marion) – 23 goals
An important part of Marion’s strong run in division six last season, O’Dea has picked back up from where he left off in 2024.
Mobile for a key forward and able to create goals for himself or others.

Hahaha, if he’s a key forward then I should make a comeback. I’ve got 1cm on him in height and 40 kilos on him in weight, and I was a ‘rover’ in the old terms of footy.
