What's the most you've spent on a drink?

Last year I had to travel to Egypt and Dubai for work, and Egypt I had a beer in the hotel lobby... $25AUD. Then in Dubai, had a single shot of 12 yr old scotch.... $40AUD. There is a reason they dont drink in those countries!

Next week when I get on the Floating Disney land out of Melbourne and I have to pay US dollars!

Went to Oklahoma for a conference, and one night went to a cigar & whisky lounge with a group of other delegates. Paid something like US$ 18 for a single shot of Laphroaig. Reckon that was upwards of AU$ 25 at the time.

The States couldn’t get their story straight on rail gauges, so how were they supposed to standardise beer glass sizes?

On don’t get me started on the standard name for fritz.

Not a big issue for me when interstate as I'll happily drink an Imperial Pint anywhere if I accidentally ask for a pint.
Only problem I have is when I mumble pint and they give me a pot.
