Block numbers using your call log
If there is a number you don't want to answer again, it is easy to block that number right from your recent call log list. Follow the steps below to block a number right from your call logs.

Step 1. Launch the Phone app, and then tap Recents at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2. Swipe to and tap the number you wish to block, and then tap the Information icon next to it.

Call centres have programmes that pick out random numbers that appear on your phone. Blocking numbers does absolutely nothing as if you block it then the computers that have you on auto dial just pull out another number.

I live pretty close to the flight path and you get used to it, I barely notice them anymore.

all the best mate, my Dad didn't wear a hat at cricket in his 20's and 30's and has just caught up with him now in his 80's
