South must have a large amount of their salary cap free.
3 x best and fairest winners and an ex captain all leaving the club along with a couple of interstate recruits must have freed up some coin.

That must be a new acronym the kids use these days as for a second I thought you meant ‘for the love of the game’!

Worth watching the clash v Golden Grove next season. Fair crop of ex SANFL players will be on the Park.

The North Adelaide Football Club are thrilled to announce that Cody Raak will join the Roosters in 2024.

Name: Cody Raak
Age: 21
Height: 194cm
Weight: 85kg
Position: Key Defender

Cody Raak joins the Roosters after 2 years on the Western Bulldogs AFL list. Cody played his junior football with the Western Jets and was picked by the Western Bulldogs as an NGA Academy selection at the 2021 AFL draft. Cody is an intercept defender who reads the game well and uses the ball efficiently when in possession. Cody has the versatility to play at either end of the ground and has strong game awareness with his positioning and ability to impact the contest. We are excited with the way that Cody will complement the current defensive group with his height and aerial skillset.

Rumour that he was moving to Melbourne anyway to be with his partner.

Hopefully sign Snelling and a couple of others

The pillaging hasn't finished yet. The SSP players still have to be finalized. WWT have Max Beattie training at Freo.

Patrick Weckert not picked up. Will be interesting to see what he does given the talent he has in cricket.

Think SACA may have offered him rookie contract, but put all his eggs in the footy basket and now left with neither.

Did not have great Under 18 Carnival, not sure he works hard enough. Talent only gets you so far. Has not played any cricket for Woodville this year.

Maybe just needs to have good year for Eagles and hope to picked up next year. Doubt he will make it in cricket.

Alex Carey was in a similar boat, and look at him now.

Watching this kid play, I think he's about 15-20 years too late for the AFL system
