Only thing I can think of is that he didn't get the captaincy and is salty about it still.
Or knowing our mid depth coming through, he hates playing half forward, he's giving up his spot.

I can't believe he lasted that long, to be honest. Looked totally lost in the games he got this year, and that's after how many years in the AFL system?

Had plenty of chances to play, Horse clearly promotes youth.
