November to February great.
Piss it off in October and March, doesn't fit in with the natural rhythms of days or often the weather, especially when we are 30 minutes ahead of our time zone all year round.

I hate daylight savings with a passion, it makes a bit of sense in England but in most warm climates they do the opposite and move everything to the cooler evenings. Makes even less sense in a widish state where poor kids in Ceduna have to go to school in the near dark.
But even though I hate it I'm willing to compromise and avoid the changing of clocks by an hour which knocks so many about by having 30 mins of permanent daylight savings.
We stay aligned with Qld 12 months of the year, the other eastern states 6 months of thd year and never have to change our clocks.

No offense to the half a dozen kids in Ceduna, but I love it. Working full time, gives much more daylight to have a social life

It ties in with wet season in Port Douglas though!
Maybe Margaret River, Thailand or most of the world though. ;)

Actually I believe the opposite. The more we live in with what is natural, the more simple and less complicated things are.

There's plenty of night light in October and March without daylight savings.
