Bingo.

Gabba game should be a 2.10 or 2.30 p.m. first bounce but again, TV ratings.

Saturday night game is fine IF no team is travelling.
Twilight is the optimum time in Brisbane. Hopefully a little cooler and still allows Carlton players to be back in Melbourne Saturday night

Oh! You do say
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Hot playing there during the day at that time.

Play the G Prelim Sat arvo and Brisbane game at night.
Mind you it's 2 degrees cooler in Brisbane than Adelaide today.
Can’t play the Gabba game at night. Part of the AFLPA agreement is that all sides must be back in their home state by Saturday night.
Twilight game allows Carlton to get the last flight back to Melbourne that night

GWS were outstanding and have timed their run perfectly, in the 1st half they smashed them in the clearances, contested possession as well as uncontested possession. Port did get some momentum back by breaking even in the stoppages in the 3rd and the game became more of a grind however the damage had been done.

I think GWS can really push Collingwood.

The club seriously needs and outside influence to come in and change things up.

Not sure you're reading the room on this one. Very few defending the decision to reappoint or the selections.

Im obviously not in the circles you are however Ive heard very few critical of the reappointment, it seems his greatest weakness is also his greatest strength - being loyal to his players.

I just see this squad so well positioned to go to the next level, they just need a new voice and leader.

Seemed a weird description of my lad, having lunch with him and he said he didn't end up wearing a Bengals top, he did see the same guy you did and went up to him to chat about the Bengals but the bloke doesn't even follow the game, just a bandwagonner.
My lad actually wore his Giants guernsey, had a great story of a Port supporter having a go at him at the bar asking him how the Giants went in their last GF, only to remind the Port supporter of how they went in their last GF!

Even the other Port supporters at the bar laughed at his stupidity.

FWIW my form rankings;

1. Brisbane
2. Collingwood & Melbourne
4. GWS
5. Carlton
6. Port

We'll see how that pans out.

Well Melbourne possibly should've won.

Go Blues.

Whilst I am by no stretch the best poster on this site but there were some seriously poor form post on Saturday night. which quite rightly got called out

My take

Port were always farting against thunder this weekend given there injuries and recent form line compared to GWS

Boak deserves another year given his game on the weekend

GWS were extremely good around the contest but I think Collingwood have the midfield depth to cover that this Friday

Dixon looks cooked after a 12 year career bashing and crashing as a key forward.

Port have some serious deficiencies down back, up forward and n ruck that they need to address and IMO may have to give up some silverware to fix those gaps.

Genuinely feel for the decent Port blokes on here who love their club and and are emotionally invested as I am with Port as I am with teh Bays.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Six day break. They've been served up on a platter to the Pies.

Little shout out and respect to Reilly O'Brien. He was walking in amongst the Port faithful on Saturday night, tray of beers in hand full well knowing he could be on the end of some open ended banter, instead of hiding in a box he was out in the outer walking ( literally ) tall.

Stopped him for a quick chat, told him I was impressed with the size of his onions and respected him for doing what he was doing. He had a laugh as he said his onions have never been on the TV.

Most of the post game stuff on here is the latter.

Anyway GWS we’re bloody good and are a good chance to beat the Pies this week.

At a dinner last night - the people did enjoy the GWS anthem youtubes from 2019
Shame they are playing Collingwood - I would enjoy another week of those

Not so sure.
Their mids were brilliant on Saturday.
Green and Kelly were outstanding and we don't have Adams.
Not sure how well Briggs will come up with a shoulder which could help us.
