Well done old mate, keep those awesome predictions coming in. Wasn’t a great year by all means. But to lose the players we did early in the year and win 5 games when most said we would even win a game I feel is a good effort. We had a crack, that’s all we can do. We could have taken the easy option and requested to go down, but we didn’t. Defeating woody south twice and Blackfriars twice I would have thought it was highly likely we would stay up. Over the past 3 weeks we’ve seen Trinity get smashed by woody south and Blackfriars with the upset yesterday. Couldn’t have been worse for us with the end results. But that’s footy!!! So maybe it is our time back down in div 6.
Plenty of EFC folk were cheering the ‘end result’ so wouldn’t feel too bad about an honourable relegation mate. Rebuild in what looks could be the old CDFA in Div 6 next year!
Are CLG in with a sneaky chance for an upset this week? Kilburn are elite on their day, but a full strength CLG can match them. Few sore bodies at Gepps, the week off could be good for them. As it hurts to say, I think Trinity will get the job done on their deck this week in a close game.

45-50 minutes max. Suck it up.
Most teams don’t sulk about travelling for a chance at a flag!
A Grade teams are Gepps Cross and Kilburn and Elizabeth Oval is closer for them.
Closer for them then what? Payneham? Campbeltown? Richmond? There’s plenty of other closer options closer to all 4 clubs represented
You're totally right. Finished 3rd, All 3 grades finish top 3, no home finals, travelled to Kilburn, Gepps Cross, Campbelltown & now Elizabeth. Absolute joke!
Old_mate21 wrote:So finish top 2 in the A grade if you want guaranteed home finals. Pretty simple. The other SANFL grounds are all being used by higher grades.
Trinity finished 4th and got a home final. Not getting a home final hurts financially too. Ridiculous the preliminary is neutral. We earnt a home final by beating Kilburn on their home deck!
Ha ha stop sooking, all prelims are neutral. It’s not a new thing. Top three means you get a double chance and that’s it. Next year finish top 2 and then you will have nothing to whinge about.
