Imagine if the siren went when Acres played on for that goal.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Absolutely, always get one thrashing in a Prelim and this one will be for sure

We talking bout the same team that’s shit the bed in finals in recent years?
Last week they showed they are up for it.
Carlton still allowed the worst forward line in the 8 to have 26 shots on goal, they would need to tighten up a bit next week and turn it into a grind.

Carlton are a massive chance, especially if they can bring that umpiring in the last 10 mins with them.

That was the worst skilled final I’ve ever seen.
Should be stricken from the record and never talked about again

Didn't like our chances today to beat Melbourne but I reckon we can get Brisbane in Brisbane

McKay and Martin back, silvagni should've played I thought...and Curnow quiet tonight

Viney is free no frontal pressure turns it over to Weitering, three kicks three marks, goal

Gawn spoil, Gawns miss FMD that was one Melb lost as opposed to Carlton winning

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

He will just say that he was absolutely knackered, struggling to get his breath in and didn’t even get a head knock…

So Melbourne lost 4 of last 5 finals since the flag??

So how long before questions are asked about Goodwin???

Goodwin deserves some flak but he can’t kick the goals for them.
Both games they missed some absolute sitters and they kicked 2.6 in the final quarter last night and at least 3 of them were sitters. Gawn or Fritsch in particular had easy shots to seal the game

4 out of 4 actually - straight sets exits in consecutive years.

mighty_tiger_79 wrote:So how long before questions are asked about Goodwin???

Well Longmire's gone 11 seasons post-flag, with a questionable finals record, without too much scrutiny. Chris Scott went 11 years between flags. Ken Hinkley's never taken Port to a GF and not won a knockout final for 9 years and has just been re-signed.

So on that basis Goodwin's safe for quite a while yet.
