What happened to the white disc bowling markers.
******* wankers with all the spray painted bullshit.

Are you unaware that international and state cricketers have used paint to mark their run up for years? They measure it with a tape measure, mark it with paint (white, black and yes I've seen them do it with dark green before) and usually put their initials next to their mark.

I think the Aussies will back Murphy and (depending on the conditions) play him immediately in the third test then go from there depending on how he goes. I'm confident he'll go well as Lyon's replacement whether that be now or once Lyon retires.

He hasn’t looked well for some time and I think many of us thought the worst when he appeared in real trouble during a live telecast a few months back.

Australian cricket legend Allan Border has Parkinson's and says it will be a miracle if he lives to 80.

The first player in history to score 11,000 Test runs, Border has revealed he was diagnosed with the disease in 2016 but had been hiding it from the public eye for seven years.

"I'm a pretty private person and I didn't want people to feel sorry for me sort of thing," the 68-year-old told Newscorp.

Yes, call me fussy but I prefer my lines to be white.

Yes I'm fully aware of the fact they've been painting lines for their run up.
I was talking about the white lines just before the stumps that then had to be painted green by a groundsman.
Just another ridiculous hold up in the game.

Great efforts by Warner and Khawaja in both innings to cop the worst of the batting conditions both times and get through 20+ overs. Australia's position all through this game has been based on this even if the runs column isn't excessive.

Got to get to at least 350 lead, but if the forecast is good, might need 400, as either way it will give the Poms four and a half sessions to bat.

I'd want 450+ lead

No Lyon means you need 50 more runs imo

Much will depend on how Trav goes and the weather. The Pommy bowlers were very good under the lights yesterday, so if they get similar conditions tonight we might struggle to be any more than 400 in front by the tea break. We could even be bowled out before tea. It would be nice to see us bowl under lights for a change.

Meant to be sunny on day 5, weather has really favoured England all match. Ponting said get 500 infront so they cant bazball a draw. Just need to bat normally, hopefully their bowlers are getting tired.

Yeah, 500, scoring 270-280 in five hours, would be ideal but I can't see it happening. Perhaps it was lucky the rain ended up coming in last night rather than us losing 2/30-40 in the last hour.

Surely you start with Andserson and Broad this morning??????

Broad looked dangerous yesterday.

Anderson is getting some good swing early.
