ROUND 6 POWER VS SOUTH ALBERTON OVAL SUN 14TH MAY 2:10PM

Post by UK Fan »

The most inconsistent team in the league vs the least invested team in the league.

Which South will rock up.

Power $1.78
South $2.00

I’ve seen us play Norwood & South in the last fortnight, going on that South don’t get close.

IMO the failure of the South defenders to get together and huddle despite Claverino trying to call them all in to get on the same page after a passage of play where they couldn’t clear the D50 and Port got a goal from a chaos ball says where South are at.

One bloke trying to take responsibility and get everyone together to play TEAM footy was being ignored by some.

Seen that plenty of times at the Bay, recipie for failure
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Agree - not sure if everyone is on the same page.

Last quarter was a dog’s breakfast.,,. Cringeworthy to watch that.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

South's combined final quarter efforts over the past 3 rounds: 3.3 to 20.10

Not fit enough? No resilience? Not motivated? Whatever the reasons it's been ugly.

We cannot kick a winning score.

Surely time to look at other options.

Given the disrespectful and disgraceful AFL mid season draft had me losing my participation and attendance in SANFL games a number of years ago as it makes a mockery of our great comp and our clubs i still watch the mighty Panthers from afar. Therefore my question is to those Southies who are close to the club (eg DOC) what is going wrong? Coach lost the players, lack of team unity, not fit enough, all of these factors? What the hell is going on??

Does two players flying in each weekend have a big influence? Must be a bit disruptive

There were very few supporters there demanding any level of performance from the playing group. Well done to the faithful that were there.
