Warner was plain unlucky, you don't expect a straight ball to be heading towards the wickets in the 2nd innings of a test match.

Or the 2nd over ;)

Seamers actually back on. Maybe the pitch isn't stuff enough yet for Ashwin.

Hard to argue.

Steve Waugh also questioning leaving out the 4th ranked test batsman in the world at the moment.

To be fair, I reckon they've been reading this thread.

They haven't broken it up enough yet so did to run through it a few more times.

You’re all looking at it from the wrong angle.

Our two exhausted players now have a huge amount of time to freshen up….watch out second test. ;)

Yep even India struggle with crowds for day time tests.

All tests will need to move to day/night (which they sold out against Sri Lanka) in the near future.

This is the problem you get when you have a Chairman of selectors and a coach of a Test team that never made it at the level, both solid shield cricketers at best, who else is in the selection panel? Cummins? nuff said

Im far from Heads biggest fan but he deserves first crack. Renshaw should have opened in place of Warner.

Now we have Finch talking Test cricket, give me a spell

Warner should have been punted. Hasn't been able to hit it off the square for years. That 200 was a shocking innings. Watch it again, if it wasn't for Marnus he wouldn't have gotten there.

This test is a complete sell out... In India when you buy a ticket you buy that ticket for 5 days. So I imagine there are lots of people working today that will be there Friday/Sat/Sun etc.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

We are every chance of seeing something quite rare today.

90 overs in the allotted time.

I don't think day v day-night makes as much of a difference in India. Ticket prices however have long been a problem.
