If I browse on my phone or tablet there's no ads but yeah the occasional time I've looked on my PC there's ads all over the place.

Mine is reverse, although I downloaded an Adblock on my laptop.

I've got the Firefox, Opera, and Vivaldi browsers on my PC. All come with advert protection. I very rarely ever use MS Edge at all.

Opera can be set to clean itself completely on closure. So I use that for anything where I don't want passwords I've used stored - like banking.
Vilvaldi seems to offer the most secure way of storing less important logins and passwords - access to their backup list is covered by a master password only I hold that is not recorded on my computer.

I don't do anything important that needs security on my mobile phone.
