Big day in the garden Saturday. Ivy that had taken a hold of a fence cut back, some large palm tree off cuts and a couple of agave stumps dug out ( small tear in the right pec doing so ) loaded onto the ute and dumped. 2 loads of green waste off to Wingfield.

Pool skimmer box scrubbed and cleaned, filter cartridge cleaned, scrubbed the water line off and gave the robot a couple of runs around. She's ready to go.

Lawns mowed front and back, front garden beds mulched before approximately 14 +/- beers and a classic fish n chip shop hamburger ( some old wogs have brought the shop near us and the food is old school ) before I hit the hay and slept like a baby.

Kissed a bit by the sun, sore from top to toe, nicely oiled internally. Cracking Saturday.

Credit to Mrs Boon who did a power of work also, she amazes me sometime with her willingness to dig in on tasks, no wonder her school community hold her in such regard.

Modern day technology.

I woke up yesterday phoneless, some quick thinking and f*** knows how but I managed to remember my apple ID password and located where my phone was via my laptop.

I got a lift with a mate who's brother picked us up the night before and I was ticking over at a rate of knots.

I went to the house a couple of times in the morning but they were still asleep, the car was parked on the road, when I drove past it my spotify connected to my car and it started playing my list then it would cut out a few houses down, kinda made it easy to work out where it was, I just didn't want the dude going to work or something before I could catch up with him.

Fox Footy playing one of their best games of the 2000.s.

It's Brisbane v Port in 2003 and it has been a cracker. As I can't recall the final result it makes for really good watching.

It is also a good memory tester as regards the players.

In Brisbane? Port won by a point.
