McAndrew 60 overs in last 3 Shield innings & zero wickets…would want a good 2nd dig with ball.

Why do they persist with Weatherald.
Surely there is a youngster somewhere in Grade cricket that can take his spot.
Someone, anyone!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

In reality the only ones on the Redbacks list that are openers are Capel, Brazell and Higgins. Capel nicks off too much and Brazell and Higgins are still young so hopefully one of these 3 can develop. Not confident though given the crap coaching at the Redbacks.

cricket.com

Click on Nikitaras' wicket and you see vision of Joey Burns getting out.

Happens all the time, usually the correct game though

Then click on Burns and you see Nikitaras' dismissal, I noticed that yesterday.

He'd be the 3rd player picked in our side, his only pressure would be whatever he puts on himself.

He would've been knocking on the Australian selectors door a few seasons ago, as was Lehmann at one stage, it's weird how form vanishes.

Not an excuse but i reckon it would be much harder as a batter in the shield these days given every minute of every game is now streamed etc.

Years gone by a team may have only seen a certain batter 2 times in the shield and maybe 2 times in the one dayers at most. These days they have endless footage of every innings from shield cricket to t20 and even now would have district cricket footage in some states.

You're right it's not an excuse and the contra argument is that batsman should be watching vision of al the bowlers that is available for their strengths and weaknesses so they develop their batting plans
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
