My daughters basketball fees have gone up 60% this season.
The club has said it has absorbed them for so long and now has no choice but to increase.
I’m all for increases to keep clubs afloat but 60%?
Anyone else had their sports fees increased due to Covid or other factors by that much recently?
Yeah similar experience with my kids, (not 60% tho). now $955 pa each kid. We’re being told it’s mainly to cover court hire costs. Its basically a year round thing so that softens the blow a bit.

In the latest incident in a spate of youth crimes, two boys, aged 11 and 12, have been arrested in connection with a stolen car in the eastern suburbs overnight.
Around 1.20am on Tuesday, police spotted a Toyota Landcruiser travelling on Portrush Rd at Payneham.
Checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen from a Greenacres street earlier that evening.
Officers followed the Landcruiser a short distance along Osmond Terrace where the occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled onto Magill Road.
Police allege the driver and a passenger were located a short distance away, but say they were unable to locate the other occupant of the vehicle.
The driver, a 11-year-old boy from Woodville West, and a passenger, a 12-year old boy from Greenacres, have been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.
They have been bailed to attend the Adelaide Youth Court in December.

No issue here, this was happening 15 years ago, i remember pulling a 9 yr old out of a stolen car back in the day, actually he drove very well, unfortunatley it goes through generations and will always be there by the time they are 14-15 there doing armed robs
