The only thing wrong with the Symes deal, is that he stays in SA with his SANFL club, Centrals...

Played 12 games in two years...good in and under but skills are a bit poor...that's about it really.
Was elevated off the rookie list...

Umm did you skip this entire season?

hang on

those taking aim at Adelaide regarding the Hudson trade, please provide your thoughts on what Adelaide should of demanded.

lets remember that Huddo is uncontracted, so if the WB refused to offer what adelaide wanted, and adelaide refused to take the deal on offer

The Club would of lost Huddo for zero compensation

FFS - Then the same people on this site, would of been attacking the club for losing Huddo for no compensation

Get realistic people, when a player is uncontracted, and the other party has the opportunity to gain that player through the pre-season draft with an early selection, than the other club has no negotiation position of strength

What the crows were able to obtain, is not ideal, however it is better than the alternative, all clubs face this issue under the current system

Question, have you ever disagreed with a move the club has made?

John Reid stated all week we were hoping for pick 22 but we would, without doubt, gain a pick in the 20's.

NFC

I stated, pick 30 and 38 are not ideal, pick 22 would of been a better result, however, you need to work within the constraints of the process

The crows would of went hard for pick 22, however if the WB hold their position, the crows need to make a choice.

1. Send Huddo to the pre-season draft for zero compensation
2. Take WB best offer

The AFC chose the second option, this now means Adelaide at holds the following picks in the national draft – 10, 27, 30, 38 and 59.

So before I go slashing my wrists, I would like to see what adelaide does with extra 2nd round pick (30) and it's early third round pick (38)

If Adelaide finds two ten year players, than I will be happy, if not, I would of been more pissed off to lose Huddo for zero.....

mate I am just being realistic

Crows comments on Brad Moran

"I suppose the philosophy for most clubs is that you trade for your needs and we see a need for a key back and we think [Brad Moran] can do that job there. We're pretty happy to get hold of Brad, we did a bit of homework on him during the year, we watched him a lot during the year just in case, so we're pretty happy to grab him

12 games in 2 years

Reasonably quick, pretty courageous, Gets his own footy (In and Under) Good endurance will keep going all day, can play a variety of roles. Bit of a jack of all trades yet master of none player (No Disrespect).

He is a poor kick, lacks a few footy smarts and is not that strong in 1 on 1's.

Best suited to a wing or maybe a run with role IMO.

Dont expect to much from him.

We hardly need more defenders. Ridiculous comment and trade.

On Moran, interesting the crows view this kid as a defender

Moran is 200cm, 103kg's and Has Buddy Franklin like speed and agility, given the crows could not find a match up for Buddy, the Moran selection and approach make's sense

Mate, he played in round 19 as a defender and he was pathetic and was subsequently dropped the following week. He's a nothing player.

NFC

mate, big guys don't become good footballers over night

take a look at Cox... all clubs passed him over until the Eagles put him on the rookie list

Obviously he has some development in front of him, lets not brand him Pathetic this early, on one match
