It's ok teams, you can get rid of all your experience, bottom out and the AFL will prop you up. What a joke.

I agree, AFL are way too obsessive to see any team down the bottom to recover quickly, forgetting that there will be another club replacing them.

I would rather work our way back within the normal system and don't feel comfortable getting this assistance - mind you compared to what other clubs have received it really is very little.

I know its very pre-emptive but the allegations against Clarkson and co are pretty significant and damning......any concerns as to how or if his role at the Kangas might be impacted.

Surely the concerns would be that if guilty, he couldn't possibly start.
So the search may have to start again??

If he was a part of this it is going to very hard for him to coach in 2023.

Hinkley to North
Carr to step up at Port and bring the succession plan forward one year.

Is Clarkson technically still on the books at the Hawks?

thought I read somewhere last week he was told to back off on negotiating with current Hawks staff as he was technically still employed there via his contract being paid out for a little while longer?

It's only an allegation at this stage, however, you can imagine North has it's lawyers all over the contract to see where they stand in regards to ripping it up.

If they can, they then have to decide, do they?

I feel a little crass thinking about this when there's victims out there who need support more than any coaching decision does.
