Most people think its game and scenario pieces that the assistant coaches are showing the players at half time, it's a little-known fact that the best assistant coaches show players the critiques from SA Footy punters as learning and motivation for the second half.
Armie's mid game predictions are also shown to teams that he writes off halfway through games - it seems to really fire them up, it's the only valid explanation as to how he is so often wrong with his mid game predictions by the end of the game.

Of course they count, but you need to have more than just that in your kit bag come Grand Final day.
To his credit, regardless of how useless and ugly he can play at times, since moving up north he seems to just do enough and often enough to be a menace. He actually plays better against the better sides.
I'm by no means a fan of his, the kicking around the body from a set shot 15 out straight in front does my OCD in to no end, I can't knock his output and value to the side though.
The talk today will be about The Arc and Lachie Neale, but more needs to be said of Brandon Starcevich. His job on Bolton after half time is the sort of performance that wins big games, despite last nights game being a horrible defensive spectacle* - best exemplified by Joe's match winner (how a Richmond defender failed to kill that goal is beyond me)
*was still a cracking game - bit of a throwback to 90's footy.

Almost like I'm the only one with the testicles to make a prediction.

Starcevich was huge last night and has been all season.
