Kind of funny how Heccies were all over it, and Lockleys not.
Not that I think they will.. but could you imagine if Lockleys lost this weekend now LOL!
On the upside, at least if Lockleys go on and win the GF we are unlikely to get some Advertiser article from them claiming how they rose through adversity and the league and clubs hating on them to record a famous victory.

I'm baffled that a player gets restricted to play UP a grade in any event

As mentioned, why even get a permit to play down with so many players at the club. Means someone misses out somewhere

Why didnt the coach and the footy director know what was going on so he didnt get named and played in the A's last week?

Agreed, odd that you can get a permit for a bloke who has played more A grade than B grade to play B grade but you lose a GF spot for playing him in the A grade.
If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

So Im guessing the player is B grade only from now on? Seems a real strange one considering he has played more A's than B's

Similar thing happened in the Riverland FL last weekend. The club kept the win but got hit with some big sanctions for next year. That was a preliminary final though.

Yep correct.
Perhaps the extra player on the bench in finals threw them out?

Alright, novelty has worn off for me already haha!
Onto this week - are Gepps Cross any chance?
With Gepps B/C also playing this weekend, it doesn't leave them any wiggle room if players are U/A in the A grade.

Zweck should be announced in a couple of weeks. Few formalities to get through first.

Strange move having the game out at Elizabeth, esp considering their away changerooms are a small transportable at the moment.

Where would you have the game?
Maybe it's to stop the western rabble from causing trouble
