If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

Again?
Only 2014 from memory amongst about 15 finals appearances.
Unless straight sets now refers to something other than losing 2 finals in a row?

The pre-finals bye really pisses me off.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Absolutely.
Its good that it gives teams time to freshen blokes up, but its a game of attrition so the best squads win without a boring bye.

Agree, contributed to the Dogs winning in 2016 and could have seen Collingwood have the edge with Geelong potentially having Duncan, Cameron, Guthrie & Stanley out.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

The Dees' James Jordan effectively out for the season with a foot injury. Unused medical sub in last years GF, a real shame for the lad.
