As much as i hate him.. it is good for the league. Let's just hope he doesn't do anything too stupid.

Apart from his off-field incidents, he hasn't done alot wrong onfield in recent times other than be a bit more unrelenting at the man than others.
Won't be many Port players complaining.

Tackle, fair, but it ended up with Kornes' head in the turf, nearly busting his neck

Even if Pickett doesnt clean anyone up next year, people will be looking behind them to see if he's coming.

Sounds to me there maybe a few worried people out there. The guy runs straight lines harder than anyone else you will find. Its just unfortunate that at times someones on the train tracks. Hes a game breaker and will be great for the magpies.

Oh and you roosters supporters probably shouldnt be bagging him too much as jars is chasing him for next year himself. Obviously hes trying to find some toughness in his team and look i maybe wrong but id say that would consist of dropping a few blokes with big bumps if they can get him. I dont think so though!

Oh james........Im sure hed be quite embarassed after looking at the tape. Even though chris was having a pretty good day out, james was really i thought BOG. Maybe that incident cost him a second jack oatey for himself. Either way its still in the family though and chris has two instead.

I doubt it very much tha tJars would chase Pickett but he could be a useful pick up if he got fit and stayed focussed but we have already been burnt by having Koops in 2006 who was on the wrong side of his career and was a dismal flop and over apid at that!

Adam Hueskes anyone? Not saying we should be chasing Pickett but Hueskes was just as much a risk (if not more so) than Koops. Sure Koops didn't work out but i don't think future recruiting decisions should be based on that failure. If we'd gone down that path, after Burrows we never would have recruited Hargraves.
