Bus to Port Adelaide (stops outside the pub).
Last time I took it about 6 years ago was pretty scary.
Now has reasonably normal people on it.
No screaming, no fighting!

Are you sure you’re on the right bus?

Playing cricket

I’m a 51 yo Neville nobody scrubber.

But it’s just great being behind the stumps, taking balls being clean with the gloves.

Good chat, got fired by a teammate batting, but we had a crack and lost to a better team.

Then spent an hour sitting around drinking beers talking shit.

Love cricket
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

FNQ.
Between 23 degrees & 27 degrees everyday at this time of the year,
great pubs, great seafood, magnificent scenery,
my kind of place,
sick to death of being cold.

Plant 4 at Bowden.

Went there Friday night for the lads birthday, had a burger in the food court then went and had a few frothies in Bowden Brewing, cracking spot and very handy being right *hiccup* near the train station.

Same, Plant 4 Friday night for the lads birthday, burger and beers in Bowden Brewing.

Bad result but cracking game Saturday before a couple of beers and a "sando" ( sandwich ) in the District at the Casino before walking around to Jive to watch Chris Cheney from the Living End shred up his Gretsch with some very accomplished musicians.

Late start yesterday morning before an 8km walk with the Mrs around the Port and Semaphore and home for a roast.

Sometimes you feel like the weekend came and went, sometimes you make the most of them, I made the most of them but two nights after midnight in a row isn't as easy as it once was!

Thursday night Eels lost (sigh)
Friday night my son won footy away convincingly and got BOG.
Saturday umpired the club's D grade. We lost. As an aside, I got 22000 steps up for the day. Sturt lost.
Sunday my daughter's team won away convincingly. She took my runners' top and did a great job, I boundary umpired and got nearly 15000 steps up for the day. Carlton won.
Got up this morning which is an achievement ;-) and just a bit sore in the legs.

Great weekend and decent weather too!

Cracker weekend

Friday Night
The entire bar at the Brit won on the place with "Get a Jimmy" :O3 :partyman:
"Shout the Bar" (the pub buys everyone a beer) comes up on the chocolate wheel :partyman:
Dinner at Jasmin with the family

Saturday
Football with Past Players Day at an old club of mine :partyman:
God daughter's birthday party; trying to control 43 14yo girls (Lucky it was a bye for Glenunga FC or there could have been mayhem)

Sunday
Collingwood win after the siren :partyman:
Dinner at Concubine

It seems like everyone had a great weekend

Paying for the good weekend today though. :?
I shouldn't have finished off yesterday with a bottle of champagne after hitting the Little Creatures Pales at Prospect.

Backing up with Melt @ Hyde Park with one of my sons mates was probably not one of my smartest moves
