Me? folded what?
i stand by what I said, there is no way AFL were going to rule any different when it is practically Port's word vs someone watching a ch7 replay.
But what would a little brother know

Yeah, like I said the AFL aren't interested in concussion, they were always going to sweep it under the carpet, you're bang on, wish I'd thought of a line of attack I'd never be able to substantiate.

If it was that simple there would be no confusion, head knocks are still assessed by trainers at grass roots level who are making the same calls as the AFL doc's.

Mate do you want me to type slower?

The only "call" a trainer can make on a head knock like what we saw last night is stay off as they are not qualified to assess if they can come back on. There is no "Yes/no" there is only "no".

Any trainer in any sport making any other call other than to say, "they can not return to the field and need to now go and seek a medical assessment" is operating outside their scope of practise and is leaving themselves and their sports club wide open to legal action.

Mate and if you, as a coach, see a head knock and see a player return to the field especially in an underage category you are in the same liability boat as an official at that club and should make a an appropriate "interchange call".
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Even if found guilty, what's the point in fining a club that has no money and you're bailing out constantly...like giving yourself a fine.

We’ll never have to hear about the camp again #muckraking

Well the AFL guidelines are pretty clear: https://www.afl.com.au/clubhelp/policies/health-and-safety/concussion-management

If you suspect concussion seek medical assessment.

At the SANFL senior level that's easy get the Doctor at the game to medically assess.

At community level where there is no Doctor - remove them from the game and have them medically assessed.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

We concussion is about abnormal thoughts behaviours and speech.

The Doctor was assessing Port players, impaired cognition, blurred speech and irrational behaviours are all baseline normal so the actual detection of concussion in that cohort.....

Look Booney's obviously suffering from a suspected concussion - incoherent thoughts are a basic symptom

We've been here since 1870, but in 1990 when we pissed Mum and Dad (the SANFL) off they thought they'd bring us down a peg or two and knocked out a bastard child one summer on the desk in a court room.

Then they put one away in the wank bank and he presto six years later but the child support got too much once it became a trouble-some teenager so they put it out for adoption to some Victorian couple....
