BRBRPB would be able to help more, he knows more about his history.
Kingsley could be an exceptional footballer but has had a shocking run of injuries, hopefully we see the best out of him next year, he's done a lot of work behind the scenes with coaches too.

We would've, but West Adelaide signed him up first... (Cupido, Steinfort, Prokopec etc...)

Is it also true that Bamford has or is about to retire?

I guess Perrie will be missing from North Adelaide's plans in 2008

D. White and Lonie might also leave depending on the draft - It doesn't take long for a sides depth to be depleted.

As for Howard, we really missed him at Westies and from memory, he came from Broadbeach Qld... Hehas been a great player in sa Footy.

Hasn't been announced but I'd guess that he will be and will announce it at the B&F.

Perrie is a better than even chance to be at North in 2008
Banger is unknown at this stage
Lonie & White depend on the AFL trade week outcomes

About time we had another good salary cap stoush. Who do people think was over the cap more -Centrals or North. With Callinan on nearly $100K my money's on...

...North!

lol, I never said anything about over or under it my point is with Howard gone and possibly Banger and Hart it would free up a little space.
Saying Callinan is on nearly 100k is ridiculous, he actually took a smaller package at Central than he was offered at the Eagles.
He wouldn't be on half of that IMHO with my understanding on the way Central operate.

Well the owner of a leading SANFL collectibles shop on Unley road certainly thinks Callinan's on the sum mentioned.

I'm always in for a salary cap stoush :D

Westies, with the worst list in the league, were a few grand over the cap last year, so I'd say Centrals spend a few hundred thousand more than the cap, legally of course. They manage to pick up high priced recruits, but keep premiership players on very small salaries.

North are lucky. Players play for them for a lower figure than anywhere else, but when they leave, they free up a lot of space.

As for North's new recruit, it's well known what he was asking for and he was signed very quickly.

For interest, how about guessing what the Gowans would each be on per year and go from there.
