Re: 2022 Adelaide Footy League - Division 3
Justin Hardy going to be a seriously big in for Flinders Park.
What will be interesting is what 'playing conditions' his stipulated to the club. Was obviously last year at Eudunda that he was only going to play as a forward regardless of whether it was in the teams best interests to move him around.

Played CHB in Jervois'2020 premiership. Can play both ends that's for sure. Ripper fella also

Absolutely can play both ends, saw plenty of him at his time at the Dogs. Agree his a ripping bloke.
Didn't leave the forward 50 for Eudunda last year and rumour has it that was part of his T&C's to come play there.
In the finals series it was blatantly obvious to everyone Hardy needed to be used elsewhere but wasn't.

The Saints hierarchy are most surprised by this
no one thought he was playing this year
They may get his mate, as he's only trained a couple of times up this way and his brother is no longer involved

Not much chat in this thread - it should be one of the most competitive divisions this season. Anyone want to make any bold statements before the season kicks off?

Round 1 down and all pretty much as expected. Maybe smosh knocking of morphies a little surprising and maybe the margin between flinders and Westminster a bit closer than expected. Other than that all went to script I'd say.

Westminster at home always tend to be a lot more challenging than Westminster away from what i have experienced the last couple of years. We always seem to find the oval quite challenging, and its dimensions couldnt be further away from what Flinders Park are used to. Not sure if that played a factor at all.

Loccy McGregor lining up for WOS (if it's the ex-Glenelg one) would've helped too, very good footballer at this level.

It sure was Pag, he kicked 3 of their first 4 goals by just getting to the right spot of a contest. Any small defender will have their hands full playing on him this season.

Big game today GG vs flinders, impressive last quarter by the burras. #7 for golden grove looked the goods, deserved higher honours in my opinion

Yep, was fairly surprised with the result in C grade and A grade on the day, even the B grade margin was larger than it would normally be between those two sides. First thought was that Flinder may have had a fair few out across the grades with so many changes from round 1, but i suspect that is the case for most clubs on round 2.
Sets up for a great clash at GG in round 3 against our lads with bost sides currently undefeated.
