Agreed, it’s just a pity the playing group acted as if they never heard of him.
So much for the culture and history being passed on and ingrained into them
Ports worst loss in their 25 year history
Agree!

Touching tribute from Port not moving off 7 goals once they got there.

It’s more of a shame that large chunks of the crowd that will claim to have heard of him, that they couldn’t stick it out until the final siren.
Cmon, for the majority of Power members they know nothing of the history of the Magpies and they dont need to, nor do they care.. Theyre not fooled by the club trying to tell them theyve been around for 100 years. The right place for him to be honored and respected is Rd1 in the SANFL in the guernsey he shed blood sweat and tears for, not this franchise team.

Bottom line bar Boak basically, when the pressure goes on them they go to water!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Nut jobs were in black white and teal on Adelaide Oval, Brus. I genuinely want to know with all that Russell means to your club how the players and coaching staff could put on a performance like that?
