Now I'm just waiting for the SACA to announce they've re-signed Cletus Lehmann to a 5-year contract.

Agreed Rusty. We are definitely going to need some bowlers as in the past 2 seasons Sayers, Mennie, Worrall and Richardson (moved to QLD) have all finished up. The batting looks OK as long as we persevere with some of the up and coming talent and not flick them after 1 or 2 games.
Fingers crossed the new CEO comes in (I believe he's already here) and puts a broom through the place. I just hope and pray he doesn't get caught up having Nielsen et al piss in his pocket, and that he's professional enough to remain "independent". At least it's encouraging that he is not part of any "boys club" at the SACA. Finishing bottom 5 years' in a row with the same people involved just doesn't cut it!!

The new boss is 39 year old from Surrey cricket Club. Highly respected so hopefully does a good job. Was out watching the Semi and Grand Final of Grade cricket which was promising signs, probably getting opinion of the standard etc. Names like Thornton and Stanlake been mentioned, to go with Doggett and McAndrew and couple of young ones might be ok. Agree with MC and Rusty, probably the worse thing was winning the last game as they will think they are ok now and they are far from that

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2021/22
Exit/end of season interviews are on this week at the Redbacks. I'm hearing that Kerber and Gibson have been cut. Not sure who else. Let's hope some of the managers/coaches in there are cut as well!!

Great start by WA in the Grand Final of Sheffield Shield against VIC at the WACA.
At Lunch they are 0/99 with Bancroft on 55 and Whiteman on 36.

WA 1/188
Bonus Points
Vics = .01
WA = 0
Looked to be a no ball but must not be a 3rd umpire checking
