Matthew Lobbe?
Surely not the ex Power ruckman?
He couldn’t jump over a Jam tin 4 years ago.
Wouldn’t get a kick in Div 5 these days.

Not for many years, it was a highlight of going to my great grandma's, the old monbulk plum jam in a tin, probably riddled with salmonella but I'm still around.

Not really, Lycett the no.1 and Hayes doesn't have the forward ability like Pedro Ladhams so he only plays when Lycett is injured or against a team with a dominant run all day ruckman like Melb or Coll.

This, Hayes is a ruck, not fwd/ruck and Lycett isn't a fwd/ruck so it's one or the other and with Finlayson in the side he'll do the chop out.

Fair enough, I would have thought Hayes needed game time in case Lycett does go down and sharing the role would be an idea option at this stage, again you’d know better about your team than me.

The hype around Hayes is interesting, he's played 37 SANFL games and in his two AFL trials has looked ok at best. I think he's still a full year of SANFL footy and AFL training from being ready to push Lycett aside.

Hype is there because it seems like they moved on Ladhams to get Hayes in
