They’ll be competitive
Feedback is the boys are enjoying what Knowlesy has brought to pre season. Some of the lads are saying it’s the fittest and hardest pre season they have done in a while. Will definitely be a better team than last season. But u never know how much the opposition has improved as well. So you are only guessing where that leaves you on the ladder come seasons end. Gut feel is, fighting for finals but not enough firepower for the big dogs.

Yeah it will be an interesting year that’s for sure - haven’t heard much from walkerville, plympton or pulteney wonder how they are looking this year. We all know that hope valley and Pembroke are going to be the two teams to beat after that I reckon it could be up for anyone!
speaking to a couple port Noarlunga mates telling me they were all over plympton in the trial - anyone there to witness there statements? not sure if they are taking the mickey or they actually did - finished bottom last year in SFL i would assume plympton would have done it easy? Surely plympton had a long list of outs

Scores were not kept (at least on the Porties side), educated guess plymptom 3 or 4 goal winners

I would assume Plymptom had quite a few out, I can't see them being in that shape come Rd 1.
Long shot I know! Havens v TTG next Saturday are looking for an oval to play A-Cs trials next Saturday the 19th, if anyone knows of anything available please let me know, cheers

BBQ available (canteen closed due to covid) and the beer will be cold
Was a great game for the neutral. HV really should’ve won it with the chances they missed but credit to Pembroke for doing enough. Evans with a really important bit of soccer work with 15-20 secs to go gained 40m of territory and iced it.
Levicki v Nobes was a great 1v1, very different strengths made the contest great to watch.

I thought the game was way above D4 level. Really enjoyable game to watch Agree about Levicki v Nobes: Athlete v mountain
